The Cambridge Rocket Club hosted it’s eighth launch of the season on September 28, 2025. The short notice Mini-Launch was attended by four club members and was flown under ideal weather conditions. The purpose of this launch was for CRC member Taras Tataryn and myself to test fly some models in preparation for a model rocket competition in Mars, Pennsylvania on October 18th and 19th. We managed to gather some valuable information that hopefully will help us at the meet. This was also an opportunity for our other two members, Lawrence Engel accompanied by his son and Alex Specogna to have some fun with lower powered model rockets. We ended up launching 15 rockets, burning 15 model rocket motors with a theoretical total impulse of 225 Neutons.
It was a fun day and gave me a chance to fly some of my models.
